With his new CD, Munich saxophonist Alessandro De Santis, originating from "caput mundi", continues the programme of "Canzoni Italiane". He expands it, however, with original compositions of bass player Rudi Schießl and with recordings of various elegant compositions of current Italian Jazz musicians (among others "Tempo" by Aldo Romano). Acting as a "Padrino", he invited several musicians of the Munich Jazz scene for this purpose and thus increased the "famiglia".
