Quadro Nuevo - In Concert The first live album from Quadro Nuevo since their formation in 1996. Highly inspired World music fresh from the stage, with sounds from ancient Italy and Portugal, Tango, Valse, Mocca-Flor and magnetic moments. Despite the great success of their prizewinning studio recordings, which were awarded with multiple German Jazz awards and the European Impala, the four exceptionally virtousic musicians still consider their home on the stage. The band was honoured with the ECHO Jazz Award for Live Act of the year in 2010 and 2011 - the highest Honour of the German Phono Association. Quadro Nuevo played 2600 concerts all over the world: Sydney, Montreal, Ottawa, Kuala Lumpur, Istanbul, New York, New Orleans, Mexico City, Seoul, Singapur, Tunis, Tel Aviv and from Athens over the Alps to Porto, from Denmark to the Balkans to the Ukraine, all the way through Europe. Their current Live Album presents 14 stage-proven favourite tracks of the band, recorded live at four concerts at Lustspielhaus in Munich in spring and autumn 2011 - with a high-spirited audience.
