Christian Sommerer, dem Bassposaunisten, umtriebigen Bandleader und Gr\u00fcnder der Big Band, ist es im Fr\u00fchjahr 2000 gelungen, die &#8220;Jazz-Legende&#8221; Clark Terry f\u00fcr eine zehnt\u00e4gige Deutschlandtour zu gewinnen. Der Titel &#8220;Clark&#8221; erkl\u00e4rt sich somit von selbst. Die technisch perfekten Aufnahmen sind gekennzeichnet von Rhythmus, Tempo und Dynamik und einer F\u00fclle von musikalischen Klangfarben. Mit seiner homogenen Rhythmusgruppe und hervorragenden Bl\u00e4sern f\u00fchrt das Summit Jazz Orchestra durch alle H\u00f6hen und Tiefen des musikalischen Empfindens. Ohne dabei jedoch seine eigenen erstklassigen Solisten einzuengen. Oder gar ihren Gast Clark Terry, der mit enormer Ausdruckskraft und vollkommenem Spiel den Zuh\u00f6rer in seinen Bann zieht.
