Levantino)<\/em> 3:58<br \/>\n11. <strong>Empathy<\/strong> <em>(F.Snetberger)<\/em> 6:02<br \/>\n12. <strong>Mocca Swing<\/strong> <em>(M.Francel)<\/em><br \/>\n13. <strong>Good Bye Old Man<\/strong> <em>(Tom W\u00f6rndl)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Levantino (l\u025bv\u0251n\u2219tino), n.: <\/strong><br \/>\nDrei junge M\u00e4nner und ihre scheinbar ungeschliffene Musik zwischen Gypsy, Indie-Rock, Jazz und Filmmusik bestechen durch ungew\u00f6hnliche Ernsthaftigkeit und rohe Spielfreude.<\/p>\n<p>Urspr\u00fcnglich als Schulband in Bad Aibling\/Oberbayern gegr\u00fcndet, setzten sich die Br\u00fcder Max und Michl Bloching sowie Tom W\u00f6rndl mit Musik auseinander, die ihrem Alter als eher un\u00fcblich angerechnet werden kann. \u00dcberzeugend ist dabei die unglaubliche Intensit\u00e4t und Professionalit\u00e4t, mit der sich die Band zwischen den musikalischen Genres bewegt, immer verbunden mit gro\u00dfem Spa\u00df an Improvisation.<\/p>\n<p>Beeinflusst sind sie dabei von verschiedenen Musikstilen. Dazu z\u00e4hlen K\u00fcnstler wie Giora Feidman, Sophie Hunger und Macklemore ebenso wie das New Yorker Jazztrio The Bad Plus oder die Stoner Rock Band Queens of the Stone Age.<\/p>\n<p>E oder U Musik, alt oder neu, das scheint von keinerlei Bedeutung zu sein.<\/p>\n<p>Die Vereinigung von unterschiedlichen stilistischen Elementen zieht sich wie ein roter Faden durch ihre St\u00fccke, wobei eine Liebe zu fremden L\u00e4ndern erkennbar ist.<\/p>\n<p>So singt Frontmann Michl Bloching in vielen Sprachen, nicht nur auf Deutsch oder Englisch und spielt verschiedenste Instrumente; Bassklarinette, Klarinette, Akkordeon und Saxofon. Zusammengehalten wird das von der gelassenen und doch verspielten Indie Gitarre Tom W\u00f6rndls und dem warmen Jazzkontrabass von Max Bloching.<\/p>\n<p>In ihren Anf\u00e4ngen spielten sie Klezmer und italienische Musik aus den 50er Jahren auf Hochzeiten und in Hotelbars.<\/p>\n<p>Mittlerweile sind die Drei auf B\u00fchnen in ganz Deutschland unterwegs und lassen den Zuh\u00f6rer jedes Mal mit dem Gef\u00fchl zur\u00fcck, gerade einen ungeschliffenen Juwel erlebt zu haben. Das Publikum hat das leise Gef\u00fchl, hier etwas Gro\u00dfartiges in seinen ersten Z\u00fcgen erlebt zu haben, das Gef\u00fchl Entdecker zu sein.<\/p>\n<p>Im Sommer 2013 entstand nun das Deb\u00fctalbum \u2013 \u201e<strong>Chapter One<\/strong>\u201c.<\/p>\n<p>Levantino wird das Album auf ihrer Release Tour vorstellen.<br \/>\n2012 bekamen sie den Kulturpreis ihres Heimatlandkreises Rosenheim, im Herbst 2013 gewannen sie den Landeswettbewerb CREOLE und werden Bayern im Mai 2014 beim Bundesentscheid vertreten. Im M\u00e4rz 2014 wird das Trio in der Endausscheidung des Nachwuchspreises der Jazzwoche Burghausen antreten. Im April folgt dann ein Auftritt bei der Clubnight auf der Jazzahead in Bremen.
