London-born Jenny Evans, is a jazz singer, according to the experts, one of the best in Europe.

Carefully handling phrasing and colour, Jenny Evans creates an extremely rich scope of vocal dynamics that ranges from warm interpretation to rough expression. Whether they are swing or latin rhythms, up-tempo scat tunes or ballads, Jenny Evans’s individual interpretation of the songs and her charisma make all her concerts unforgettable. Today’s audiences are fascinated by her vivacity, her looks and her stage presence. She was trained in classical singing and piano, she works in musicals and appears as an actress on stage and television, she has been working for years as an off-speaker for films, she is a lyricists and an entertainer. If there ever was an all-round talent in show biz, her name is Jenny Evans.

Jenny Evans lives in Munich, Germany, where she ran her own jazz club for a number of years and where she was awarded the prestigious “Award for Interpretative Arts” by the town in 1987. She has appeared as a soloist and recorded with such jazz greats as Benny Bailey, Al Grey, Buddy Tate, Leo Wright, Dusko Goykovich and Gianno Basso.

Her appeal as a live jazz act has led to concerts and festivals all over the world. In 2002 she appeared in the prestigious Tchaikovsky Hall and it was filled to capacity. In 2003 Jenny celebrated her 25th Jubilee as a jazz artist and still she is cultivating her fine art of making each song she sings, whether original or standard, her own.
