2020 marks the anniversary of the LE BANG BANG duo. Exactly ten years ago, the first encounter with the eponymous Big Bang effect took place. A spontaneously scheduled bar concert led to an ecstatic aha moment for audience and band alike: This singer and this bass player – the combination was perfect and LE BANG BANG was born.

“Bang!“: This stands for the moment when everything seems to fit, the head is turned off and the densely intimate togetherness of melody and groove stops time. Stefanie Boltz and Sven Faller free a variety of well-known to unheard compositions from unnecessary ballast and dress them in surprising new clothes. For ten years now, the two virtuosos have been conjuring up a cosmos of sound with just their voices and double bass that doesn’t leave a single minute cold. As if it were a matter of course, they create a crackling tension in their minimalist line-up, where you could hear the drop of a pin even in large concert halls.
